Abilene (KXVA FOX) -- Abilene City Council approved the Cobb Park Revitalization plan on Thursday. This upgrade will bring some major improvements to the Cobb Park neighborhood area, including street and sidewalk improvements, and more bus stops and shelters.

"I would like to see the city give incentives to home owners in this area, and also encourage young families to come back into our neighborhood," said Carrie Blaschke, a neighborhood resident.
