We will be married 25 years this year. No one thought it would work, We come from complete differnt backgrounds. I met her when i was stationed in Germany. I am just an old country boy. She was a city slicker. But even after all these years, she is still the woman of my dreams.

On February 12,2013, John and I will be together for 11 years and May 5th,2013 will be our 9 year wedding anniversary. We have 5 awesome and beautiful children and great friends who we consider our family. We are the type of people who help whoever we can, even if it means being without ourselves. I believe that's what makes us unique. I just want my children to grow up with respect,not be judgemental and help people when they can. My husband and I may not be able to spend a lot of time with each other due to his work but when he's able to come home we try to make the most of our family time together.We thank you for considering us for the Valentine's Couple of the Year.
Megan & Christian Wells
Christian is eleven years older than me. I started babysitting his two children after he and his first wife separated. I fell in love with his kids. About 6 years later we started spending time together with his brother and his brother's wife, who happened to be my best friend. Pretty soon we started dating, I fellin love with him, and six months after that we got married. We will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary in August. Now in addition to his first two children, we have two more together, and another due in August. He works long hours as a manager in the production department at the Reporter News. I work full-time as a loan interviewer at Abilene Teachers FCU. Our lives are very busy, but we still make time for regular date nights. Our family loves music, and with 5 kids we're well on our way to being the next Von Trapp family singers! (Haha) We are unique because we are very different from each other, and we had an unconventional start, but we have created a beautiful life and a beautiful growing family together.
John & Brenna Windham
John and Brenna are foster parents. They are coming up on 7 years of marriage and have had 7 foster children in their home. one of those children have been adopted and they are in the process of adopting their second. They have a third child in their home right now, and if they become adoptable, they will adopt him, too. They have not even tried to have their own children yet. They are all about saving these sweet children. They just had a big letdown. They were supposed to move this Friday to a new house and their financing fell through. So--they have packed boxes and do not get to move and lose their dream house. They are in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house taking care of these precious children. They are the most deserving couple I know.
