New trial date for woman accused of animal cruelty
A San Angelo woman was in court today for her final pre-trial hearing.
Brenda Luellen is charged with felony cruelty to livestock.
She's been convicted of animal cruelty twice before including a felony charge in 2016.
A complaint led to an investigation and the Tom Green County Sheriff's office seized 12 severely malnourished horses.
Her trial has been pushed back until next year and is now scheduled for January 16th of 2018.
