Over a two day span, U.S. Border Patrol conducted three seizures, finding cocaine, meth and heroin. Combined, these drugs are worth over $9.7 million. These drugs were reportedly found in various compartments of vehicles.
In two of the seizures, the drugs were being brought from Mexico to the U.S. by Mexican citizens, who were 28 and 30-years-old.
The third seizure was from a 27-year-old female, U.S. citizen from Pearland, Texas.
Port Director Gregory Alvarez said, "These three interceptions of hard narcotics are significant and I am extremely proud of our CBP (Customs and Border Protection) officers for keeping these dangerous drugs away from our youth."
