$149 million bond proposal

Early voting begins today and a bond has been proposed by SAISD.

SAN ANGELO, TX — As early voting begins tonight a 149-million-dollar bond has been proposed by San Angelo Independent School District.

The proposal is to build new facilities and improve others across the district.

For instance a 31-million-dollar multipurpose gymnasium for Central High as well as a new alternative education campus.

Also, a new McGill Elementary School building costing 22 million dollars along with three other additional elementary schools are to be rebuilt.
