City of San Angelo provides update on Chadbourne Street Improvement Project

The intersection of Concho Avenue and Chadbourne Street will reopen on a limited basis to travelers Saturday, Mar. 13.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo provided an update from Centurion Planning & Design, the engineering firm overseeing the Chadbourne Street Improvement Project Friday.

According to a City Facebook post, the Chadbourne Street Project is nearing substantial completion of Phase 1, Chadbourne Street bridge to Concho Avenue.

The intersection of Chadbourne Street and Concho Avenue will reopen to travelers on a limited basis Saturday, Mar. 13, according to the post. 

Drivers in the area are asked to proceed with caution and follow traffic signs because construction crews will still be working in the area.

Demolition work for Phase 2 will begins Monday, Mar. 15 and consists of the Beauregard Avenue and Chadbourne intersection south of Twohig Avenue and Chadbourne Street intersection.

The intersection of Twohig Avenue and Chadbourne Street will remain open at this time and business owners who will be directly affected by the construction have been notified.
