He was arrested and the department's Criminal Investigation Division was requested to help with the investigation.

The preliminary investigation showed Lohman went around the cashier’s counter, physically assaulted the female cashier and stole approximately $300 in cash and $140 in merchandise. He was seen running from the scene by bystanders.

The cashier was taken to Shannon Medical Center in a private vehicle for minor injuries associated with the assault.

Lohman was charged with robbery and was booked into the Tom Green County Jail.

The SAPD credits Lohman's capture to the officers' quick response/communication and the civilian bystanders who helped officers at the scene, and said the efforts of all involved resulted in Lohman’s arrest and the recovery of all cash/merchandise that was taken from the store.
