SNYDER, Texas — The Snyder Police Department was dispatched at 2:16 p.m. Friday, May 21 to the 1500 block of Avenue E in Snyder for a report of a shooting.
According to an SPD, when officers arrived they found a 47-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, a 21-year-old man was identified and arrested for aggravated assault.
There is no threat to the public and no additional information was available for release at the time.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the Snyder Police Department.
