San Angelo Independent School District elementary schools are hosting meet the teacher events prior to the first day of classes. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet their teachers, visit classrooms and drop off school supplies.
Classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 18.

Alta Loma
Aug. 17 - 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
- Meet teacher and drop off supplies. Classroom lists will be posted outside by front door after 4 p.m.
Austin
Aug. 17 - 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Please bring your school supplies with you and be watching Class Dojo at the end of next week for a message from your teacher. If you are new to campus or not on Class Dojo yet, class lists will be posted on Meet the Teacher Day. Please enter through the arrival/dismissal location for your grade level.
- ECSE: back gate in the parking lot on Walnut Street
Pre-K/kindergarten: cafeteria on Van Buren Street
First and second grades: door on Walnut Street
Third grade: the door by the crosswalk on Willow Street
Fourth grade: front door
Fifth grade: the door by the crosswalk on Willow Street - Kindergarten parents: We will be hosting a come-and-go session for you from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16. More details coming soon. Aug. 17 - 11 a.m.-noon - kindergarten, second, fourth grades
1 p.m.-2 p.m. - Pre-K, first, third, fifth grades
- Teachers will call home room students. There will also be staff out front of school day of to let parents know homeroom teacher. Students and parents will go to classroom, meet teacher, and drop off school supplies.
Bonham
Aug. 16 - 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. - kindergarten, second, fourth grades
3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. - first, third, fifth grades
- You are welcome to bring your school supplies to Meet the Teacher. Registration should be complete in order to be placed on a class list and be registered for this school year.
Bowie
Aug. 16 - 2:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. - kindergarten-second grade

While safety is out top priority, we are here to serve our stakeholders! With that being said, we are excited to announce we are hosting our meet the teacher in person the 2021-2022 school year. We will keep the same
designated entrance and areas. Kindergarten-second grade will enter through the back wing. Third-fifth grade parents will enter through the front
foyer. Class lists will be posted on the outside wall of our teachers classroom. If your child is not on a class list, we have a designated staff member available to assist you. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!
Bradford
Aug. 17 11 a.m.-noon
- Students in Pre-K through first grade will enter through the cafeteria. Second through fifth grade will enter through the gate by the gym. These will also be their drop-off and pick-up areas during the school year.
Crockett
Aug. 17 Noon-1 p.m.
- Class lists will be posted on the cafeteria windows at noon. Students and parents will then be directed to the appropriate classroom to meet their teacher. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies.
Fannin
Aug. 17 3p.m.-4 p.m.
- Class lists will be posted at 3 p.m. Students and parents will be directed to the appropriate classroom to meet their teacher and drop off school supplies.
Fort Concho
Aug. 13 - 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Class lists will be posted outside the buildings. Students and parents will be directed to the appropriate classroom to meet their teacher and drop off school supplies.
Glenmore
Aug. 16 - 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m. - Last names A-J

- This is a great time to quickly meet your teacher, see the location of the room, bring your school supplies and ask questions about the first day of school
- To keep our families and staff safe, times for your child to meet their teacher are based on the last name.
- Please adhere to the time frames listed to limit the number of guests on campus at one time.
If your family unit has more than one last name, please attend the time frame of your oldest child's last name.

Goliad
Aug. 16 - 11 a.m.-11:30 a.m. - kindergarten orientation
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. - Meet the Teacher
- Class lists will be posted at 11:30 a.m. Students in first-second will report to the back of the school and third-fifth to the front of the school. This will be a great time to drop off school supplies and meet your new teacher. Kindergarten families will meet for a quick orientation of Goliad in the cafeteria.
Holiman
Aug. 16 - 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
- Students and parents have an opportunity to see inside the school, find your class, meet your teacher, and bring your school supplies. Class lists will be posted at 5 p.m.
- In an effort to keep everyone safe, we will have three entrances and lists will be posted at all 3 p.m. If you have children in multiple grades, please go to the oldest first then move on to the others.
- Kindergarten and first grade, enter through the front doors.
- Second-third grades, enter the ramp off Montague Street.
- Fourth-fifth grade, enter the large gate off Lowrie Street.

Aug. 16 - 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. - Kindergarten, second, fourth and functional academics
5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. - First, third, fifth grades
- Bring class supplies and quickly meet your teacher. Students will receive a call from their teacher prior to meet the teacher.
McGill
Aug. 17 - 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Class lists posted on the correct buildings. Students/parents will go to classroom, drop off supplies. We will have a photo op so that we might alleviate first day of school congestion
Reagan
Aug. 17- 3 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Bring class supplies and quickly meet your teacher at our tailgate in the south parking lot from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17. Students will receive a call from their teacher prior to meet the teacher.
San Jacinto
Aug. 17 - 3 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Class lists will be posted outside at 3 p.m. Students and parents will go to the classroom to meet the teacher and can drop off supplies.
Santa Rita
Aug. 16 - 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m.
- Class lists will be posted outside. Students and parents will be allowed to go to the classrooms to drop off supplies, meet the teacher, and get themselves acquainted.
