Two additional COVID-19-related deaths confirmed in Taylor Co. Saturday

ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Saturday.

The patients were a man in his 60s and a man in his 90s.

The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 353.

The health district reported 18 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - seven PCR and 11 antigen.

Forty-four recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,352.

Twenty hospitalizations were included in the report.

Taylor County has administered 54,743 PCR and 82,521 antigen tests. Of those tests, 7,050 PCR and 8,197 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

There were 47,69 negative PCR and 74,324 negative antigen test results reported.
