The net neutrality concept says that all traffic on the internet should be treated equally.
But your internet provider can't block certain websites or slow down applications you may use.If the FCC approves this new proposal to end net neutrality the commission will require internet service providers to be transparent about what they offer. This will allow consumers to choose the plan that best works for them.

Professor Konana says the hope for consumers is that companies "will stay transparent".
The Federal Communications Commission is expected to vote on the fate of net neutrality 12/14.
