Angella Wray, allegedly part of the circumstances surrounding the kidnapping and killing of Abilene man, Eric Torrez, was awarded a decreased bond.

Wray was charged with aggravated kidnapping and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Judge Ben Woodward reduced the original bond of $500,000 to $50,000 after hearing from five character witnesses called by the defense on Wray's behalf.

Woodward also heard from an investigator with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office.

Wray's alleged involvement was her picking up Torrez's two children, who were living at the home where Torrez was allegedly killed and taking them to her house in San Angelo.
