NOLAN COUNTY, Texas — A Gainesville man died Sunday afternoon when his SUV was struck from behind by an 18-wheeler, causing his vehicle to rear-end another 18-wheeler.

According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at approximately 12:59 p.m. Sunday, two miles west of Roscoe, in Nolan County.

The report said one of the semitrucks, driven by a man from Chihuahua, Mexico, and the SUV, driven by Phillip W.
