SAN ANGELO, Texas — After weeks of closure, the Municipal Pool will be welcoming the public starting 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 at 18 E. Avenue A.

Admissions are $5 for visitors between 3-64, $3 for 65+, and free for anyone 2 years old or younger.

The pool will be open weekly from 12:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday, and Mondays will be closed for maintenance.

Originally, the pool was set to open Memorial Day weekend, but it had to be delayed because of an issue with the filtration system.

With the new system put in place, the pool is ready for visitors once again.

Reservations for pool parties can be made from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday starting July 13 on Sante Fe Crossing, 702 S. Chadbourne St.

Summer operations will be held through Labor Day, when the pool will shut down for the season.
