According to AAA the price difference between regular and premium gasoline is close to 20-25 % or .50 per gallon but is it worth it?

While in the past AAA has shown no benefit in using premium gasoline in a vehicle that doesn't require it, new testing indicates that some vehicles those that recommend, but do not require premium fuel may see increased fuel economy.
But the high cost of premium gasoline may outweigh that advantage for many drivers.

Ric Henry owner of a local car shop in town says about 80 % of the cars on the highway right now won't really be affected by premium fuel.

Henry says cars like BMW's, Mercedes' and other luxury vehicles are the few that *do require premium fuel.
Other than those, he doesn't recommend drivers make the extra expense for premium fuel if they don't need to.
