The location is approx. 92,000 sq. ft., contains 37 aisles of an array of products, and hired 250 employees.

"I'm really excited for this new store and I hope it goes really well for San Angelo," Tara Ann Ferris, employee, said.

The additional location features pharmacy drive-thru service, a large wine department with sampling station, and extensive beer options, a healthy living department, a full-service bakery just to name a few offerings.

"As San Angelo continues to grow we want to continue to grow," Nick George, unit director, said. "This is just an outstanding place for that and something that we've been waiting for for a long time and something San Angelo has been waiting for as well."

George along with San Angelo City Mayor Brenda Gunter were proud to announce the grand opening of the location.

Another service offered is the city's first H-E-B curbside service.

"You can order online and pickup curbside you don't even have to get out of your car which is such a time saver for our customers who are on the go," George said.
