SUV crashes into San Angelo home

Car crashes into a home off the 500 block of Paint Rock Road

Two women are without a home after a green Jeep SUV crashes into their home.

The incident happened off of the 500 block of Paint Rock Road and Fulton Street. San Angelo Police and first responders responded after 7pm Wednesday evening. No one was home when the crash happened.

The SUV struck the living room area of the home. The car was going westbound towards Bell Street. A 40-year-old female was behind the wheel and her two-year-old son was in the backseat with his seatbelt on.

"She said this is my house," said Xavier, a neighbor. "I said no ma'am, that ain't your house. I live across the street and I know who lives in this house," Xavier said.

Both of the passengers were taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The two women who lived in the home are now cleaning out the home. They have no idea where they will be staying.

This is an ongoing investigation. KIDY will continue to provide updates.
