Michelle Rodriguez Might Quit the ‘Fast and Furious' Franchise

Rodriguez said she hopes women get more opportunities in the next 'Fast and Furious' movie.

A fight for equal billing and empowerment may force a star of the Fast and Furious film series to hit the brakes on her ride with the mega franchise.

In her Instagram post on Wednesday, Michelle Rodriguez said that she’s hoping women get more opportunities in the next Fast and Furious movie – or she’ll have to walk away.

Rodriguez’s character, Letty, first appeared in 2001’s The Fast and Furious. She and Vin Diesel are the only original cast members still with the franchise.
