Sprint is reportedly in exclusive talks with Comcast and Charter to make a deal.
An agreement between Spring and the two companies could build on a partnership that Charter and Comcast announced last month.
Comcast has already unveiled plans for a wireless service using the airways of Verizon. Now sources say Comcast and Charter are in talks with Sprint to secure a similar agreement, possibly using Sprint as their primary wholesaler for wireless airwaves.
This would be a financial boost for Sprint, which hasn’t had a profitable year since 2006.
