Border wall faces new challenges

Challenges

SAN ANGELO, TX - The border wall is facing a new problem this time it's coming from environmentalist.

As the wall will have to go through the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge which spans more than 2,000 acres along the Texas Mexico border.

Jim chapman from "friends of the wildlife corridor" continues saying the wall will essentially put all of the wildlife on an island limiting their food supplies and trapping them in flood zones.
Chapman says, "This has the largest diversity of plants and animals of any refuge in all of North America."

However local farmer Frank Schuster whose land ends where the international border begins Says though he is sympathetic to the environmental concerns he's willing to make the sacrifice for security.
