City approves $1 million for new law enforcement vehicles

SAN ANGELO, TX - City Council approved 1.29 million dollars of tax payer dollars to go towards buying new law enforcement cars and trucks.

The city currently has 100 marked patrol vehicles with some  needing replacement according to the fleet service superintendent. Old cars and trucks are replaced after an average of 6 years.
The new cars and trucks are set to be purchased from Jim Bass Ford which is a  local vendor.
