Closing arguments were heard today in the trial of the woman accused of encouraging her boyfriend to take his own life.

Prosecutors allege Michelle Carter, who was t hen 17, used a series of text messages to pressure 18-year-old Conrad Roy to follow through with his suicide plans.

Roy was later found dead in his car from carbon monoxide poisoning.

If convicted of involuntary manslaughter, Carter faces up to 20 years in prison.
