SAN ANGELO, TX - The Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG) will be hosting its Annual General Assembly meeting to celebrate 50 years of service to the Concho Valley.
During the meeting, CVCOG will be presented with a resolution from the Texas House of Representatives from State Representative Drew Darby, as well as, special recognition from State Senator Charles Perry.
The event is on Wednesday, Oct. 11, starting at 6 p.m.
"The CVCOG is a voluntary organization of local governments formed to foster a cooperative effort in resolving problems, policies and plans that are common and regional," according to a press release.
The CVCOG serves 14 counties including: Coke, Concho, Crockett, Edwards, Irion, Kimble, McCulloch, Mason, Menard, Reagan, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton and Tom Green Counties.
