Concho Valley plays a big part in agriculture in Texas

SAN ANGELO, TX - In Concho Valley agriculture brings in 600 million dollars to the state every year. 

A recent study by the Texas A&M University Agrilife extension service at San Angelo look at the business of the 13 Concho Valley counties. 

The results showed that Texas is the largest sheep producer and only four states produce more wool that the Concho Valley.

Bill Thompson conducted the study and found it interesting how important agriculture is to the Concho Valley.
