#FoxFilmFridays: Action comedies face off at the box office

"The Hitman's Bodyguard" and "Logan Lucky" are out in theaters now.

SAN ANGELO, TX - There's a new bodyguard in Hollywood!

Ryan Reynolds is taking on the role of the bodyguard in the new action flick "The Hitman's Bodyguard."

Reynolds stars opposite Samuel L. Jackson who plays one of the world's notorious hitman. 

Reynolds is hired on to protect Jackson against an Eastern European dictator. 

But the two have some history they need to get past in order to protect each other from harm. 

"The Hitman's Bodyguard" is rated R. 

Director Steven Soderbergh's "Logan Lucky" features a star studded cast.

The film features Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, Katie Holmes and Oscar winner Hillary Swank. 

Tatum plays Jimmy Logan who teams up with his one-armed brother (Driver) in an attempt to steal money from the Charlotte Motor Speedway. 

However a scheduling mix-up finds the thieves attempting a heist during a busy race and an FBI agent who's on their tracks.

"Logan Lucky" is rated PG-13.
