Laughter Really Might Be the Best Medicine

Diane Kane teaches people how to laugh through some of their toughest times.

MILWAUKEE - Whenever we’re feeling stressed or down, smiling can be the last thing on your mind. However, one Milwaukee woman says we should be doing exactly that!

Diane Kane is the CEO of the Milwaukee Laughter Club. She travels to the Milwaukee area, teaching people how to laugh through some of their toughest times.

Now, thanks to Kane and her friend Bobbi’s senior group, laughter really is the best medicine.

“Many times, people will come with their arms crossed like, ‘Ugh, why am I here?’ And they realize that laughter does feel good,” Kane said.

Kane travels through the area, hosting lectures and workshops where people essentially force themselves to laugh.
