Helicopter Attack in Venezuela

The Venezuelan president said a police helicopter fired on the country's Supreme Court.

CARACAS, VENEZUELA - Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said a police helicopter fired on the country’s Supreme Court in a “thwarted terrorist attack” that tried to oust him from power.

The incident took place as President Maduro was speaking live on Venezuelan state television to pro-government journalists.

President Maduro said the chopper fired on the Office of the Court and launched a grenade that did not explode.
