Hydroplaning causing accidents in the Concho Valley

SAN ANGELO, TX - We are expecting about anywhere from a half inch to an inch of rain here in the Concho Valley.

The roads will be slick which can ultimately cause your vehicle to hydroplane this can happen on any wet surface and especially when traveling at 35 miles per hour.
To avoid a possible accident its best to make sure your tires are up to par

Most cars are going to have the right size tires on them the ideal there would be to make sure they have good tread, the less tread you have the more chance you have to hydroplane.
Watch out for Avenue l and parts of knickerbocker because those roads tend to accumulate the most water.
