SAN ANGELO, TX - Farmers and ranchers from across Texas were in town for the Annual Texas Section Society for Range Management Meeting.
Breakout sessions and speech topics ranged from beef cattle management to invasive species management to better utilizing preserving natural resources.
Som major concerns that were high on the docket for those in agriculture, continual expansion of the urban sector and of course water.
Corey Owens, TSSRM Meeting co-chair said, "The importance of managing for natural resources and although the majority of the population is east of I-35. The majority of the agriculture production comes from west of I-35."
Both issues were addressed and potential solutions were offered.
