UPDATE: Man identified in weekend shooting

New details about the deadly shooting in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX - According to an affidavit filed by the San Angelo Police Department, Antonio Flores lll, 28, allegedly shot Andrew Martinez, 24. 

On October 28th, a friend of the victim, was confronted at America's Best Value Inn by Flores and two others.
Flores allegedly pistol-whipped the victim's friend, then told the friend to take him to where Martinez was located at the time.

The friend drove Flores and the two other men to the 1300 block of E 24th St. There the men confronted Martinez about money being owed for methamphetamine he had bought in the past. It was during that argument when Martinez was shot at point blank range.

After the shooting - the group of men made the victim's friend drive them away from the scene.
Two of them were later arrested by SAPD during a traffic stop.
