Nurses from all across America are at the nation’s capital, angry over the GOP’s draft of their healthcare bill.
The American Nurses Association joined Michigan’s Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow in a press conference.
After weeks of closed door meetings, Senate Republican leaders unveiled a healthcare bill aimed at scrapping Obamacare on Thursday.
Some nurses against it say the new healthcare bill will hurt the nation’s most vulnerable.
“This is not a promise kept, it’s a promise broken. We’re nurses, and we’re very worried for our patients. We can do better, and Americans truly deserve a better plan,” Pamela Cipriano said.
A final vote on the new legislation could come next week.
