An Illinois congressman has introduced legislation to make presidential social media posts classify as official records.

Democratic Congressman Mike Quigley introduced the “Covfefe Act” on Monday, labeled “the communications over various feeds electronically for engagement.”

The bill would amend the Presidential Records Act to include social media, making it potentially illegal for President Trump to delete tweets.
