Price to get a passport increases by $10 in April

SAN ANGELO, TX - If you're planning to travel internationally this summer and you don't have a passport yet, you might want to think of getting one soon.

As of April 2nd, it will cost you and additional $10 to submit an application for a passport.
The State department is increasing the current execution fee from $25 to $35.
The department saying while the current $25 fee covers the cost for facilities that accept passport applications such as the post office and public libraries it does not cover the cost to process the applications by the State.
