San Angelo detective involved in search for suspect accused of double homicide

SAN ANGELO, TX - A San Angelo detective is helping track down a suspect that believed to be involved in a double homicide in Kansas.

The SAPD officer was attending training in Taylor, Tx when he got the tip. It then lead to a vehicle pursuit which ended near Hutto, Tx. 

The man that police say is responsible is 19-year-old Keith Hawkins. He's being accused of killing 24-year-old Alyssa Runyon and 4-year-old Zaylynn Paz. 

The two were found dead the week of Aug. 7 inside a bedroom of their apartment.
