San Angelo Regional Airport receives $3.1 million in grants

SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Regional Airport, Mathis Field, is receiving a $3.1 million grant. This grant is to help support safety, capacity, security and environmental improvements.

The grant is part of a $185.8 million grant that is spread across 62 airports across the nation. 

These grants will be issues in the next couple of weeks by the FAA. The FAA will also make sure that these projects implemented by the grant will be under construction or completed by winter.
