A new invasive species is about to make a big stink in Texas.
Originally from Asia, the bagrada hilaris – a type of stink bug – is making its way from California to Texas.
Experts say they hitch rides on trucks crossing state lines.
The bugs can cause serious crop damage, as well as cause damage to plants in nurseries and gardens.
There are no natural predators for this insect either. The best way to beat this stink bug is early detection. Look for the eggs and get them off your plants.
