TABC targets college towns during undercover operations

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission will conduct 'Back to School Minor Stings' as the new school year approaches, according to the TABC.

SAN ANGELO, TX - As college students head back to campuses around the state, the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission is ramping up their undercover operations.

TABC said they will be conducting undercover stings at local retailers and convenience stores that sell alcohol. During the "sting" a minor-aged person will attempt to buy alcohol.

If successful, the business and its employee could face fines and possible criminal charges.
