The Bosque offers residents fun in the sun on Labor Day

Residents spend the day by the Bosque adjacent to the River Walk in San Angelo.

SAN ANGELO, TX - Fox News First's JJ Maldonado caught up with residents by the Bosque on their Labor Day activities. 

"[I was] scheduled off today," Diana Gutierrez, San Angelo resident, said.

Many took advantage of the warm weather Labor Day had to offer with fishing, riding paddle boats and jogging by the River Walk. 

"We're just talking a walk, enjoying the scenery," Cayci Brewer, San Angelo resident, said.

Whether it's sitting on the couch or inside of a battle boat most people were trying to relax while having fun. 

"We were just sitting at home being lazy," Linda Scott, said. "We decided to come rent these paddle boats we've been seeing."

Meanwhile for the little ones taking a break from the books they found fun in miniature golf. 

"It was awesome, Preston Rice, 7, said.
