SAN ANGELO, TX - Walmart recently announced plans to increase the minimum hourly wage for us employees to $11 an hour and credits president Trumps tax cut.
This comes after the Nation's largest private employer was under fire by politicians.
However, word trickled in that many Walmart owned 'Sam's club' stores are closing.
USA today reports 63 will close.
A West Texas Sam’s club manager says he can't speak on their store but the manager of a store here in San Angelo says they're staying open.
