Dax Gray has been in the sports media industry since 2004. He was born in Kearny, N.J., and grew up in Herndon, Va., which is right outside of Washington, D.C., and grew up playing soccer, and played goalkeeper for the Division 1 program at Radford University in southwest Virginia.

Dax graduated from James Madison University, where he hosted a weekly sports radio show on WXJM, and started working as an sports intern at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Va. He then moved to become the sports reporter at WRIC and also worked at WWBT in Richmond, Va. From there, Dax worked at WTKR in Norfolk, Va., before becoming the sports director at FOX West Texas.

He loves his hometown teams from the DC area - Nats, Caps, Skins, Wiz and DC United.

Dax is a loving husband, and great father to his daughter, Skylyn.
