While Wonder Woman stays at the top this week at the box office, newcomers Megan Leavey and The Mummy are hoping to take the lead.

“I’ve been watching this dog all year. It’s the most aggressive dog I’ve ever treated.”

Young and unhappy, 20-year-old Megan Leavey leaves her home and joins the Marines. As punishment for a night of misbehavior, Megan finds herself cleaning up the K9 kennels. While there, she befriends Rex, an unruly German Shepherd in need of discipline. Together, the two complete more than 100 missions – until an IED explosion leaves them injured, with one final operation left.

Megan Leavey is rated PG-13.

Entombed and buried away, an ancient princess is awakened to get back what was taken from her. The Mummy stars Tom Cruise on an action-adventure that is packed full of visual effects. The movie was filmed on 50 sets and three continents, encompassing the sweeping sands of the Middle East and the bustle of modern-day London. The film ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

The Mummy is rated PG-13.
