PARMA, Ohio — 6-year-old Maverick Metz may be little, but he’s making a big difference in his community.
"Come get your bracelet on our Facebook page, 'Maverick Helps,'" he says.
But it’s not just an accessory; buying one of his bracelets helps raise money to create kits for the homeless.
"We have 92 kits," Maverick gushes.
His family comes together to make the kits, which include water, socks, wipes, apple sauce, and a granola bar to donate to St. Herman House in Cleveland.
"I was really surprised at the outcome of support," his mother Stacie Metz said. "To me, it just shows that there’s a lot of good and people do want to help, and sometimes they need an avenue to do that."
And if you’re looking to rock a specific style, they have what you’re looking for.
Maverick's small gesture is helping a big cause. If you want to help maverick make a difference, head to "Maverick Helps" on Facebook.
