Delta Air Lines is tightening their restrictions due to unfortunate incidences involving emotional support and service animals. Delta Air Lines Senior Vice President, John Laughter, said in a statement, “The rise in serious incidents involving animals in flights leads us to believe that the lack of regulation in both health and training screening for these animals in creating unsafe conditions across U.S. air travel.”

Those who want to bring their support animal with them on the plane will be required to provide a signed doctor’s note, a signed veterinarian’s note and proof of training.
