Angelina Jolie used her star power to bring attention to World Refugee Day on June 20.
She traveled to Kenya to promote sexual violence prevention in war-torn countries.
She visited a training center on how to prevent sexual violence and met with refugees.
"So it is a responsibility of those who wear a uniform to take the lead now by correcting from within, setting an example and stepping forward with new commitments," Jolie said.
A recent Associated Press investigation found almost 2,000 allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and other personnel over the last 12 years. More than 300 cases involved children.
