Fort Concho to host 'Murder at Fort Concho' Oct. 24

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The annual "Murder at Fort Concho" will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Fort Concho Historic Museum, 630 S Oakes St. in San Angelo.

According to a City of San Angelo press release, the event is based on the game Clue and will have a fee of $10 for the public and $8 for fort members.

The release also said, to meet COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, tickets will be sold for specific time slots. The first available time will be 7 p.m. followed by every 15 minutes until 9 p.m. No guests will be permitted after.

Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Center, Barracks 1, 630 S. Oakes St. or by calling 325-481-2646.

The program will begin in the Visitor Center and parking will be available across the street. Masks and social distancing are required on the grounds, as well as inside any building. Capacities for each time are limited, therefore tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Attendees will receive an orientation in Barracks 1, use the maps and directions provided, and speak with fort staff and volunteers dressed in period clothing. The staff members will speak of their knowledge about the "murder." After reviewing the information, attendees will select a guilty suspect.
