Nine new positive COVID-19 cases reported by the City of San Angelo Saturday

SAN ANGELO, Texas — UPDATE (June 21):  According to a City of San Angelo Public Information Office Facebook post, the number of active cases reported Saturday, was incorrect. The correct number of active cases should have been 90 and not 64.

The City of San Angelo reported nine new positive COVID-19 cases Saturday which include eight for Tom Green County and one for Midland County.

The nine new cases are:

  • White male in his 20s, considered travel related; resident of Midland County
  • White male in his 70s, considered community spread; resident of Tom Green County
  • White teenage male, considered exposure to known case; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic female in her 60s, considered exposure to known case; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic male in his 20s, considered exposure to known case; resident of Tom Green County
  • White female in her 50s, considered exposure to known case; resident of Tom Green County
  • Hispanic male in his 20s, pending method of transmission; resident of Tom Green Count
  • Black/Pacific Islander male in his 30s, exposure to known case, resident of Tom Green County.

Total positive cases: 232

Active cases: 64

Currently hospitalized: 1
