AUSTIN -- A historic landmark now sits on the banks of Shoal Creek.
The West Sixth Street bridge was inducted into the National Register of Historic Places Friday.
The designation kicks off restoration efforts for the bridge.
It's 127 years old, making it older than the State Capitol building just a few blocks away.
