Texas Border Patrol had two major drug busts Tuesday, Aug. 5 seizing masses of meth and cocaine.
Border patrol agents found four million dollars of methamphetamine at the international bridge in Pharr, Texas. The drugs were originally stored in a commercial trailer. There were a total of 36 packages that weighed almost 200 pounds.
In Laredo, more than $484,000 worth of cocaine was seized by border patrol agents. The drugs were found inside an SUV driven by a Mexican citizen. Agents used K-9's and non-intrusive methods to find the cocaine. The drugs were found sectioned into 24 packages, weighing all together, 63 pounds.
