“Build a Better World” is the theme of this year’s summer reading program at Stephens Central Library.

The program is free to all ages and all reading levels.

The library is hosting special guests and activities geared toward building all summer long – but with a big picture in mind.

“Who the children are and how they can make a better world by their kindness, by reading. The important thing is reading this summer,” Sally Meyer said.

The kids will sign in at the library and log in 10 books for the summer and if all the reading is completed, they will receive a prize.
