ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Police are investigating an early morning burglary at Abilene's Best Buy.
According to a release from the APD, the burglary of a building was reported 3:11 a.m. Tuesday.
There were multiple suspects involved and they stole electronic equipment valued at approximately $48,000, according to police.
Detectives are working with other agencies as this burglary may be related to other similar burglaries around the state.
Law enforcement believes this same group may have been responsible for similar burglaries in Tulsa, Oklahoma, McKinney, Houston and possibly others.
It is possible, APD said, the suspects are quite possibly not local.
